Agent Biography:

Having grown up a daughter of a hotel consultant, moving was a part of my everyday life! I went to four different high schools and so grateful to be able to meet so many people growing up. I love connecting with people and often joke that I am a "relationship collector". After college, my career pursuits lead me to follow in my Dad's shoes and work in the hospitality industry. It was love at first sight and I was so eager to learn everything I could & more!

I interned in every department until I found that I felt most comfortable in Sales & Events. I worked in this field for over 7 years with jobs that included everything from wedding planning to corporate room sales. I loved meeting new people and enjoyed the thorough detail it took to execute an event, meeting, party, or organizing a room block.

The hospitality industry can include LONG hours and not a whole lot of flexibility. When my daughter was born, I wanted to embrace the opportunity to spend those precious moments with her before she started school. With the change, I knew that real estate would be a great opportunity for me to parlay my love for people and experience in the hospitality world into real estate. Plus...my husband is an Realtor & Home Inspector, so this move seemed like the natural progression of my career.

I believe in real estate you should treat every person in the transaction like family. I want my clients to feel like they are working with their sister, daughter, cousin, best friend. I really like to try and understand how someone communicates (which is vital in this industry) to help connect and make the process smooth and seamless. Are you a numbers person, great let's get those over to you! Do you just want to talk about warm and fuzzies....yes, let's do that! Whatever helps you to understand and feel comfortable in this process is what I want to deliver. I fight in every negotiation like I am negotiating for a property for myself. No shortcuts. No exceptions.

I have been in Austin for 16 years now. I love this city and everything it has to offer! Plus my husband is a born and raised Austinite - I know, a Unicorn. I tell everyone that I married into being a native Austinite. My focus is on the southwest Austin area - Dripping Springs - Driftwood. This is where I live and know what it means to live here, work here, exist here.

While I am not out hustling in real estate, there is a good chance you will either find me in the Hill Country with a glass of wine, eating delicious tacos somewhere (really, tacos are my weakness) or taking a Barre class. (The last activity is almost always fueled by the fact that I love the first two activities so much!) And I absolutely love experimenting in the kitchen! My favorite day includes going to the farmers market and finding one item I have never cooked with. It is fun to try and throw it into your dinner routine and come up with a new recipe! I love day road trips around central Texas. There are so many wonderful and interesting places to visit - it is so fun to hop in the car and just drive!

My daughter was adopted and I take such pride in being an advocate for adoption. I am part of the local adoption board in Austin, and have served as President in the past. I also advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. As a type 1 diabetic - diagnosed at age 4 - I find such joy in helping in the cause to find a cure. And of course, what Mom would I be if I wasn't a part of my daughter's PTA?
