Agent Biography:
A native of Pennsylvania, mother of 3 children, and grandmother to two grandsons, I spent 26 years as an Air Force spouse which gave me the opportunity to live in Virginia, Germany, and Georgia. The military is what brought us to the Wilmington area where we vacationed at the military recreation facilities at Kure Beach falling in love with the people and the wonderful things this area has to offer.
Our family has enjoyed exploring the beaches from Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Oak Island, Holden, Sunset, and Ocean Isle. My husband and I also enjoy kayaking and geocaching.
While living in Pennsylvania I worked in the housing industry for 10 years with the USDA and a local redevelopment authority. More recently I worked in customer service with educational institutions and New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
I have earned Intracoastal Realty’s exclusive Institute Graduate Certification, which is awarded to associates who have furthered their professional real estate education through a comprehensive program of specialized, in-house coursework. The Intracoastal Realty Institute Graduate Certification curriculum includes specialist certification in technology, finance, new home construction, relocation, marketing, and communication skills.

The market was tough in our area due to new construction and Laurie helped us price our home in the right range to get it sold. There were repairs that needed to be done so that the house could be sold and since we were out of state, Laurie had to do a lot of extra work to get contractors in for estimates and in to do the repairs. Also, we had a lot of complications during our closing (due to the sellers) and Laurie was able to stay positive and help us close on the house. We would recommend her to any of our friends.
